Welcome to the Mountain Oaks Ranch website. We would like to introduce to you the stallions, the trainers, our ideas and all the details that make us a successful breeding operation. Whether you need to breed your mare or purchase one of our offspring , you will find that we have the time to help with your breeding goals, your mare, and eventually your beautiful foal.
Our bloodlines include the AQHA Grand Champion lineup of Approval, Quincy Feature, Sir Quincy Dan, Impressive, Skipper W and Jonathon Cash. On both sides of the family tree are proven halter champions and extremely athletic foundation working horses including Poco Bueno, Joe Reed and Joe Reed II, Joe Hancock, Peter McCue, Three Bars, Peppy, Sugar Bars, Leo and of course King. RJ Enterprize carries the winning bloodlines of Hollywood Smoke, Mr. Gunsmoke, Holy Doc Sox and Poco Tivio
We have chosen our bloodlines carefully and our stallions are from lineages that cross exceptionally well with all other breeds and bloodlines.
Tardee Would Approve (Woody) is a flashy buckskin, homozygous for the black gene.
Approvn' The Blues (Louie) is a stunning Perlino and has been producing buckskins, palominos and even grullas.
Earning The Blues (Ernie) first foal crop is arrived in 2006 and was terrific. He is a Perlino, a full brother to Tardee Would Approve.
RJ Enterprize An athletic, gorgeous Bay who sires great performance horses.
We are recognized by customers and trainers for our intelligent, beautiful horses all whom have calm, reasonable and loving attitudes. We believe in natural horsemanship methods and we promote the emotional and mental development of our horses as well as their physical development. We work closely with Charles Wilhelm and adhere to his principles of natural horsemanship training.
Located in the South Sacramento Valley, about a half hour from Sacramento, this is a rural yet easily accessible location surrounded by vineyards and ranching operations.
